    Welcome to Future Fleets, a browser-based, fan-created Star Trek™ game. Before you register with our site, please review the following summary of our rules, as well as the site's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Who Can Join?

    Site membership is open to any person thirteen (13) years of age or older who has been given an invitation code by another member and, if a minor, who has been given parental permission to use this site.

What Are the Ground Rules?

    This site was created as a role-playing resource for fans of Star Trek™. Members are encouraged to keep their profiles up-to-date whenever possible, and we ask that they create extra-secure usernames and passwords to help protect the site from malicious users. Members are expected to use the site's resources in a safe and responsible manner, and they are expected to behave like adults at all times, keeping in mind that this site may be used by families and young teenagers. Any behavior which violates the site's Terms of Service or, more specifically, creates an unfriendly or unsafe environment for our visitors will not be tolerated, and may result in the termination of an account and a permanent ban from the site.

This Site is Being Tested!

    Future Fleets is still a work-in-progress! By joining the site, you must understand that we will be making constant changes to both the site and its databases in order to improve the quality of our services in the long-run. To that end, users may, at any time, experience random error messages, limited or no site availability, slow responsiveness, or any number of additional problems including bugs, glitches, and data loss. We are working very hard to ensure that everything remains functional and that backups are routinely performed, but we cannot oversee everything 100% of the time.

    If you notice anything unusual on the site, discover a bug, or encounter an unexpected error, please use the e-mail on our contact page to notify us immediately and we will do our best to resolve the problem in a timely manner. Please do not exploit any bugs or vulnerabilities you find! We will terminate the account of any user who we believe has altered the site, their account, or any other user's account by tampering with the site or exploiting a bug/vulnerability. Again, we need to know about these problems immediately so we can resolve them before they can cause serious damage.

    Finally, we want to make sure everyone knows that this version of the site is just the beginning! We realize that many aspects of the game may not look or behave perfectly, and we know that there is not really a lot to do right now, but we are in this for the long haul. With some time and help from visitors like you, the game is going to grow and evolve into something we can all enjoy, but before we can get there, we need to start small and test things out, that way we can ensure we are doing everything right.
