    In order to register with this site, a user must self-identify as being at least 13 (thirteen) years of age and provide their real name, real age, a unique username, valid e-mail address. Once they register and activate their account, we require them to create their own unique password, which we protect by encrypting it before it is stored on our site. Names, ages, and e-mail addresses are never sold or given to third-parties for any reason whatsoever, and they are only used to identify the user and to communicate with htem regarding their account or membership. Site administrators will never ask a user for their password or any other forms of personal identification, and anyone attempting to solicit such information from a user should be reported to us immediately.

    Finally, as a part of our Database and Game features, we allow users to post information regarding their characters, simulations, and fleets in our databases. This information is displayed on the site where applicable.

2. How This Information is Used

    No personal information is every shared with a third-party. E-mail addresses are only used by us to contact a user regarding matters involving their account. Information collected by our hosting company is used to determine who is visiting the site and how, that way we can better tailor our content to suit their needs. We may disclose available information or content pertaining to our users in the event that it is requested by government authorities conducting an investigation, or when necessary to protect the site, its staff, or its users from potential threats, both cyber and in the real world. Finally, if Future Fleets ever changes owners or servers, the information we collect may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

3. Cookies

    The Future Fleets site uses a technology called "cookies" which are small text files placed on a user's computer to store their username and preferences. Our host also uses the technology to determine whether or not a visitor is "unique" when they visit us, that way the statistics they provide us with are as accurate as possible.

    The creators and staff of Future Fleets have put electronic measures in place to try and safeguard the security of our users' information. In the event that any malicious coding is added to the Future Fleets site, we will work to remove the coding as quickly as possible, warn our users and visitors of the dangers, and, if necessary, take the site offline until the matter has been resolved.
