Future Fleets Going Drupal?
Posted March 25th 2012 by Raemet
We are excited to report that, after three years of developing the Future Fleets site and game from scratch, we are now looking into migrating the site over to a powerful content management system (CMS) known as Drupal.
Drupal is a rapidly growing, open-source CMS with almost limitless functionality and potential. It is being used by some of the largest companies in the world, with more adopting the system every week. Further, it provides us with a unique opportunity to improve upon our site's architecture and functionality.
Please check back in the weeks to come as our Planning Committee takes a closer look at this potential migration and reports back on their findings.

Development Continues!

As a quick update to all our faithful followers, we are still working on implementing the highly-complicated Mission System we began work on two months ago. This system is proving to be particularly temperamental, but we are committed to resolving the remaining issues and releasing this feature once it is functioning properly.
Please keep checking back for updates as they become available.

As 2011 draws to a close, we wish to thank all of our visitors and testers for a very productive and exciting year!
We can already tell 2012 is going to be an amazing year for Future Fleets! We have a lot of great new features we plan to roll out in the coming weeks, and with behind-the-scenes work still ongoing, we are very optimistic about a full launch of the site within the next few months.
This will probably be the last news item of the year, so from all of us to all of you, have a happy and safe holiday season and a magical new year!
